George Tsalikis is a Greek born visual artist living in the larger New York area. He holds a B.F.A from Massachusetts College of Art, Boston; a post-baccallaureate degree from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He was invited by M.I.T, Boston, where he attended their graduate program in “Environmental Art,” at the Center For Advanced Visual Studies. His works in many mediums include photography, painting, printmaking, and moving image. He has exhibited in galleries in U.S. and Europe and his works are in private collections. He has received awards and scholarships to support his work.

Within the last few years, printmaking has become central to his working process. Drawing from a personal archive of photographs and places lived and remembered - as a source material- he engages with the question of Place and Memory.

He is the founder of Inky Editions; a community based art print studio in Hudson, NY.
