Golbanou Moghaddas, has been developing a body of miniature etchings inspired by the manuscripts of the 16th and 17th century in Iran. A common thread among the pieces is the Hoopoe - a messenger of Unity from Attar’s book, The Conference of The Birds. In her exquisite line drawings she conveys narratives with an autobiographical approach. She is calling on Hoopoe to make a comeback and offer its wisdom to our divided world.
